Brisbane Kayaking and Pumpabiking

Beginners to experienced paddlers discover the attraction and excitement of kayaking adventures in the Brisbane River as they kayak past the CBD, Botanical Gardens, Kangaroo Point cliffs, South Bank, and other local landmarks. Riverlife also offers night kayaking on selected nights.

Wow, what an experience! Imagine kayaking along the Brisbane River with the city lights and magnificent Botanical Gardens as a backdrop. Each kayak is fitted with a custom made light which gently illuminates the paddler for up to 600m.

Upon return, guests will be treated to finger food, appreciation of Barambah Wines and wine tasting on Riverlife's riverfront deck opposite the CBD at Kangaroo Point. All participants must be over 18 years of age to partake in this activity.

Straddie Adventure gives you the opportunity to explore the waters off North Stradbroke Island during an exciting sea kayak tour. Surf the waves, discover beautiful destinations and stop at Shag Rock for a snorkel.

Each kayak seats two persons, so you'll have more stories to share, and the destinations alternate from Point Lookout, so you can enjoy the adventure again and again.

A PumpaBike is a self-propelled hydrofoil that glides along the top of the water. Once the experienced Riverlife instructor has shown you the basics, give it a go for yourself, and try not to get wet! What makes this experience even better is that if you can master the art of PumpaBiking on your first try and keep your pants dry, it's free!
