The XXXX Alehouse celebrates the history of the well-known Castlemaine Perkins brewery and its world-famous XXXX beers, a staple of the Queensland lifestyle. Just minutes from Brisbane’s CBD, the facility includes an entertaining and interactive brewery tour, hosted by the famous 'Mr XXXX' animated character.
Learn the history of the brewery, the secrets of famous XXXX brews and listen to colourful stories that educate and entertain. After seeing the heritage and workings of the brewery first-hand, visitors are given the opportunity to taste a few brews in the XXXX Ale House bar.

Built in 1889, in the French Renaissance style, The Breakfast Creek Hotel is entered into the Queensland Heritage Register. It is one of the few pubs in Australia to still serve beer 'off the wood' or out of wooden casks.
