Bars and Pubs
Plenty of bars and pubs with a variety of ambiences adorn the streets of Brisbane. The best spots to entertain yourself are definitely the Valley, New Farm, and West End, but you can find a good atmosphere in South Bank, Milton and Kangaroo Point as well.
The CBD is curiously not so lively, but a couple of pubs such as Chill on Queen, Belgian Beer Café Brussels and the Irish pub O’Malleys are great places for a drink.
The city also boasts bigger establishments which are extremely popular with locals and definitely worth a visit. Often old heritage building renovated in modern and practical venues, the following addresses are just a sample of what Brisbane has best to offer.
