City Train

Queensland's CityTrain network will get you where you want to go.
Over 300 km of track covers Brisbane and the rural centres of South East Queensland, and includes 145 stations, and additional bus services extending the service beyond the rail network.
The Citytrain network extends from the centre of Brisbane, south to Beenleigh and on to Robina on the Gold Coast. The network extends north to Ferny Grove, Shorncliffe, Caboolture on the Sunshine Coast and on to Gympie. To the east, the service extends to Cleveland and west to the city of Ipswich and rural Rosewood.
Citytrain runs a fleet of modern air-conditioned electric trains, equipped with video surveillance and emergency communication systems to increase the safety and comfort of passengers.
Newer trains in the fleet feature a smoother ride, comfortable lighting and seating and hand rail configurations allowing greater access for people in wheelchairs and parents with strollers and prams. Many trains running to the Gold and Sunshine Coast, are fitted with luggage racks and feature toilet facilities.
The Citytrain service is proud of its puncuality, efficient customer service and clean, reliable fleet. Passenger security is paramount and help phones are available in stations and adjoining car parks, and services are patrolled by Transit Service Officers, Police and private security officers.
